RESTORATION

When approached to restore this boat Brad Rice, The Boatwright, saw the potential through the chipping paint and beer logos. The restoration included replacing a large majority of the hull,

adding decks, seats, windshield, steering, and mahogany veneer to the boat. The final result is an amazing transformation into a sporty little Runabout.

This 1954 Bristle Bay Gillnetter located in Prince William Sound was converted from a fishing boat into a seaworthy cabin cruiser. The conversion included the removal of the fishhold and the design and building of a new pilot house, rear cabin, and interior. The boat is shown here under construction.
